Job Title: Head of Digital Product Management – Retail eCommerce
Location: Greater Dublin Area
Salary: 110-110K DOE + bonus + benefits package
About the Role Hiring on behalf of a client seeking a hands-on Head of Digital Product Management to lead the product function during a major digital transformation at one of Ireland’s largest retailers. Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, you’ll own the end-to-end roadmap across eCommerce, loyalty, mobile apps, and emerging channels – blending strategy with relentless execution to deliver measurable commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the full digital product roadmap, translating strategy into prioritised, executable initiatives with clear outcomes.
- Establish and run a high-velocity product operating rhythm using Scrum and Kanban (backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos).
- Hold accountability for key digital KPIs – conversion, NPS, retention, and revenue growth.
- Build robust business cases focused on short-, medium-, and long-term ROI.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional product team (Product Leads/Owners, Designers, BAs), fostering a culture of delivery excellence and clear accountability.
- Partner deeply with Engineering, Marketing, Trading, Operations, Data, and Finance to align and ship products.
- Gather customer insights, competitor intelligence, and performance data to continuously iterate the roadmap.
- Provide clear, concise communication to senior executives on progress, risks, and next steps.
- Contribute pragmatic external perspective and best practices tailored to the retail operating model.
Requirements
- 10+ years in product management with a proven track record shipping consumer-facing digital products in retail, eCommerce, or high-volume consumer businesses.
- Strong delivery focus – you’ve repeatedly taken products from idea to live with measurable impact.
- Deep experience with Scrum and Kanban in agile/lean environments.
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary product teams.
- Commercially sharp – able to connect product decisions directly to P&L outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and influence skills at executive and cross-functional levels.
- Familiarity with modern retail tech stacks (web/mobile, loyalty, personalisation).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA advantageous).
